Get a first taste of Tokyo on an orientation walk, then have free time to explore this dynamic city. For example, you can check out Yoyogi Park, Asakusa Shrine, quirky Harajuku and the famous Shibuya Crossing, or explore the city's myriad of shops and cafes

Day 3 Tokyo/Takayama

Travel to scenic Takayama. Learn about the charming streets of Old Town lined with sake breweries and craft shops on a CEO-led orientation walk. Use the rest of the day to further explore the region. In the evening, relax in a traditional ryokan with tatami floors and Japanese futons

Day 4 Takayama/Kyoto

Take the train to Kyoto, former capital of Imperial Japan. Spend the rest of the day exploring this historic city. In the evening you can relax with a beer by the river or visit one of the many bars in town

Day 5 Kyoto

Use the free day to explore this cultural city. You can visit some of the beautiful temples, attend a tea ceremony or take a calligraphy class

Day 7 Kyoto/Hiroshima

Travel to Hiroshima where you can visit the Peace Park and Museum and learn about the tragic history of this city

Day 9 Hiroshima/Osaka

Take the train to Osaka, one of the culinary hubs of Japan. Make the most of your free time in this diverse city and sample takoyaki, one of the city's most popular street foods

Go out and explore the city. Opt to tour a ramen museum, visit Osaka Castle, relax at an artist cafe in Nakazakicho, or go shopping in Umeda. On the final evening, immerse yourself in Osaka's vibrant nightlife with the group
